The cable network has given the green light to a wedding-themed spin-off series that will feature the
Real Housewives of Atlanta star remarrying her ex-husband,
Gregg Leakes (via
THR).
I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding, which is set to premiere this fall, will feature Leakes planning her ceremony with celebrity wedding planner Tiffany Cook and
RHOA bridesmaids
Cynthia Bailey and
Marlo Hampton.
NeNe Leakes shared the good news on Twitter on Thursday, writing:
I Dream of NeNe is the second wedding-themed
Real Housewives of Atlanta spin-off series from Bravo.
Kim Zolciak's
Don't Be Tardy is currently in its second season.
RHOA co-star
Kandi Burgess also has her own spin-off series,
The Kandi Factory.
Earlier this year, Leakes dished on how she and her former hubby reconnected. "I've known Gregg since 1996 and I never really wanted to divorce Gregg," she told Andy Cohen on Bravo's
Watch What Happens Live. "I believe that as women, you have to stand for something or fall for anything, and I think that we teach men how to treat us. And I had to stand, honey!"
The pair split in 2011 after 13 years of marriage, then quietly reconciled in 2012. They have a 13-year-old son, Brentt.
