Tuesday night after making it far deeper in the competition than many expected. As she left the show, she thanked dance partner Louis Van Amstel for "molding this lump of clay into something." Louis Van Amstel and Niecy Nash. (From abc.com)
"I do feel like I redeemed myself," Niecy said during her exit interview. "I am a 40-year-old mother of three, I've got three C-sections under my belly," Nash laughed. "I was able to survive in this competition this long. I cannot hula-hoop with a Cheerio, but I've been able to be one of the last women standing in this competition. I've had a fantastic time being able to live out my dream. I'm a happy girl."
Niecy finished with the lowest score on Monday after performing a Viennese waltz and a paso doble. Judge Len Goodman said Monday that he was pleasantly surprised by Niecy's waltz, but complained that the couple's transitions weren't up to snuff.
