One Direction

One Direction is a British-Irish boy band that formed in London in 2010. Members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson came together during auditions on the seventh series of the UK talent competition 'The X Factor.' Though the band finished third in the competition, they signed to Simon Cowell's Syco Records later that year.
