''Parks and Recreation'' is a comedy that premiered on NBC on April 9, 2009. ''Parks and Recreation'' is about Leslie Knope, an ambitious government worker and politician who loves her hometown of Pawnee, Indiana. She gets her start working in her town's Parks and Recreation department with a collection of colorful friends and co-workers. It stars Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, and Aubrey Plaza.
