Oh no, Professor X. What happened to you?! Our first picture of Charles Xavier in Logan arrived this morning (courtesy director James Mangold's Twitter), and the years have not been kind to the founder of the most accident-prone school in New England.

Details of the third Wolverine movie were revealed Wednesday, and it seems The Wrap had it right when they revealed they'd spoken to behind-the-scenes sources about the story this time around. "Professor X (Patrick Stewart) is old and not well. His powers are unstable and at times he doesn’t even remember Logan," the site revealed.

Here's the full picture Mangold tweeted Thursday following the news.

The R-rated Logan, due in theaters March 3rd, takes place in 2024, and the Professor won't be the only one suffering from diminished powers. In a page from the script tweeted by Mangold, it's revealed that Wolverine is aging and suffering from chronic pain as his healing powers deteriorate. So yeah, altering the timeline in Days of Future Past definitely had some unintended consequences.
