Paul Bettany goes from being a voice actor to being a full-blown costumed superhero in Avengers: Age of Ultron. After voicing Iron Man's AI, Jarvis, for the last seven years, Bettany worked with his co-stars in real time for the first time in the new movie. And he revealed a clip of what he calls the character's "birth" on BBC's The One Show earlier this week.

So what was the transition like? First off, Bettany says his daughter, Agnes, who turns 4 next month, was thrilled. Bettany explained he was worried what her reaction would be to seeing him in full costume when she visited him on set, but it turns out he didn't have anything to worry about.

"She's with me on the first day and I was purple, and I came out and she loved it. She knew exactly who I was. But then at the end of the day when I took it off, she had the first meltdown I'd ever seen her have, and she just went, 'No, I want Purple Daddy!' It was kind of humiliating."
