At one point he was also joined on stage by 18 bagpipe players for Scottish ode ‘Mull Of Kintyre’.

He ended his set with storming renditions of some of his best loved songs, including ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Day Tripper’, ‘Lady Madonna’ and ‘Helter Skelter’.

Paul’s European tour took in dates in Hamburg, Berlin, Arnhem, Paris, Cologne and Dublin, before ending in London on Tuesday.
