Ray Romano is making his small screen comeback with a new series called Men of a Certain Age. The comedian brought in tons of laughs for a decade on Everybody Loves Raymond, and hopefully his new show, where he plays a separated father of 2 who's struggling with getting old, will live up to his past gig.

Ray said the show has plenty of scenes inspired by his real life, which should make for some darn funny material. He recounted an example (via Oprah.com), when he told a college buddy even his behind was showing his age: "That's when I knew middle age was hitting," he said. "I caught my ass in the mirror … and I'm like, 'That's not my ass.' "

The comedian said when his sitcom ended in 2005, he was pretty bummed, so it sounds like he's glad to be back on TV. "When the show was ending, [my therapist] said, 'You want to start coming twice a week?'" he said. "About three or four months after Raymond ended, I said, 'Yeah, let's start going twice a week.' He knew this was a big change."

Besides, he seems like he's got too much time on his hands. He said he enjoys watching "National Anthem" performances on YouTube: "That's another way of [knowing] you're reaching a certain age," he said. "Smokey Robinson has one from 1986. Look it up." We did it for you:
