Torn was arraigned on charges of criminal trespass, carrying a gun without a permit, carrying a gun while intoxicated, burglary and criminal mischief and was released on a $100,000 bond. Police responding to an alarm found Torn in the Litchfield Bancorp branch's lobby Friday night after he reportedly broke into the bank though a window while intoxicated. Actor Rip Torn, who is perhaps best known to comtemporary audiences for his roles in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story and 30 Rock, is headed for rehab.

On Friday, Torn was arrested after he was found intoxicated at a Salisbury, Connecticut bank. According to Torn's lawyer, the actor believed he was at his own home at the time of his arrest. Torn reportedly blew a .203 BAC on his breathalyzer test, and screamed that the police were removing him from his own home (to be fair, the bank did look just like a house).

He was released today on $100,000 bond. He faces charges of burglary, criminal trespass and weapons offenses, but has not yet entered a plea.

Hopefully the latest charges will be what Torn needs to get his act together. He has already faced two drunk driving convictions; at least this time he was the only person in harm's way.
