Irishman
Cillian Murphy has taken on some memorable roles that have made him one of the most interesting (and probably underrated) actors out there. His new film, a collaboration with
Buried director
Rodrigo Cortes, is no less singular. We were lucky enough to sit down with the two artists at the St. Regis in San Francisco to discuss their upcoming film,
Red Lights, set to be released July 13th.
The movie takes place in the world of parapsychology and finds a professor (
Sigourney Weaver) and her assistant (Murphy) working to disprove a world-renowned and intimidating psychic (
Robert De Niro). Check out what Cillian and Rodrigo have to say about the film, especially the physical aspects, as well as Cillian's experience wearing the Batsuit during his original audition with
Christopher Nolan before
Batman Begins.
