After batteling breast cancer and completing both chemotherapy and radiation treatments, Robin Roberts, co-anchor of Good Morning America is ditching her wig, for good.
After starting chemotherapy last fall, Roberts shaved her head, and wore a wig during the morning news show to look like her old self. She says she wore the wig for the past six months so that her outward appearance would not distract from the news stories of the day.
After recieving much support, and hearing the stories of hunder of viewers that had been in her situation, Roberts decided to lose the wig, once and for all. She debuted her new, natural look, on the show this morning.
So what will she do with the wig now that she doesn't need it? Roberts says she'll auction it off for charity.
