After running off to Ireland with a 19-year-old girl and tossing back two bottles of vodka a day, it's seems Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones has burned the candle at both ends. Actually, that's an understatement. He's not only burned the candle at both ends, he then took what remained of the candle, attached dynamite to it, blew it up, then stomped on it.
The 61-year-old Rolling Stone guitarist has checked himself into rehab, according to a statement by his rep. "Following Ronnie's continued battle with alcohol, he has entered a period of rehab," the statement read. "His close family and friends say he is seeking help and look forward to his recovery."
This all comes after reports that his wife, Jo Woods, 53, left her husband after reports of his return to drinking and relationship with 19-year-old Ekaterina Ivanova
, a Russian waitress.
Woods has had a longstanding battle with the bottle, and this is obviously not his first trip to rehab. He reportedly fell off the wagon in 2006 and entered rehab.
No word yet on what treatment facility Woods has checked himself into, or how long he will stay.Image Source Getty Images
