In Hollywood, when it comes to movie ideas, the motto seems to be "when in doubt, remake or reboot something." In the summer of 2015, one of those somethings will be another live-action re-imagining of the classic
Peter Pan tale. Like Spielberg did with
Hook, director Joe Wright will rely on a mix of big name A-listers and young up-and-coming actors to fill out the cast of
Pan, an origin story movie about the boy from Neverland. Here's who will be playing the new versions of the classic characters from your childhood.
Garrett Hedlund as Captain Hook
Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily
Levi Miller as Peter
Amanda Seyfried as Mary
Adeel Akhtar as Smee
There are also some new characters from the animated Disney version we're all familiar with. Like:
Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard
And
Nonso Anozie as Bishop
Pan is currently filming as is scheduled for a July 2015 release.
