Why have only one Ryan when you can have two?
Ryan Gosling and Ryan Reynolds hit the 2016 Critics' Choice Awards on Sunday night, taking time out to greet one another as only fangirls do. They shook hands, they laughed, they beamed like crazy, and then they pointed at one another as if to say, "This guy just gets me."
Both men had plenty to celebrate, Gosling's latest film La La Land having absolutely shaken the box office over the weekend despite its limited release, and Reynolds having just won the night's biggest honor, Entertainer of the Year.
Woody Allen's La La Land went into the night with 12 nominations, bringing home Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Song, Best Score — an astounding eight awards.
Gosling, 36, and Reynolds, 40 are both fathers of two, Reynolds having welcomed his second child with wife Blake Lively in September.
Gosling also has two children, daughters Esmeralda Amada and Amada Lee with actress Eva Mendes.
Look out for Deadpool 2 January 12, 2018, and catch La La Land in limited theaters now.
