Good news, everyone!
Billboard reports that Adele's forthcoming album, which is a follow up to the multi-Grammy winning smash 21, will be released in November 2015. In line with her previous album titles, the highly anticipated record is rumored to be called 25.
In May 2014, Adele coyly hinted about a possible release date through her Twitter.
According to the New York Times, the financial reports from Adele's label, XL Recordings, stated: “There will not be a further new release by Adele during 2014 and consequently there will be a fall in XL’s turnover and profits.”
Adele has not confirmed reports about the November release date, although a few of her collaborations have been revealed. Billboard reports singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, who produced and co-wrote “Rumor Has It” for 21, have credits on the upcoming album. Danger Mouse and Max Martin, the famous Swedish producer and songwriter, are also rumored to have made contributions.
Last July, Ed Sheeran briefly discussed Adele's long-awaited album with U.K.'s Capital FM. He said, “I haven’t heard [the record], but everyone I know who’ve worked on it is just like, ‘Dude… that record!’ Apparently it’s really good!”
Although a rep for Adele had no comment on the reports, people are already excited about the news.
