Thanks to Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment for releasing an illustrious new batch of images from the upcoming Despicable Me prequel, Minions. You already know the main Minions, Kevin, Stuart, and Bob, but the pics also feature glimpses of Scarlet Overkill (voiced by Sandra Bullock), her husband Herb (Jon Hamm), as well as Madge (Allison Janney) and Walter Nelson (Michael Keaton).
Due out on July 10 in 3D, Minions is set before the events of Despicable Me and its sequel. Gru isn't invloved in the plot (although a cameo near the end shouldn't be ruled out). Instead the Minions are in search of a new evil leader to follow. They've worked for many through the ages, but no one has stuck, so Kevin, Stuart, and Bob set out on a journey to New York City and beyond to find a new villain and do his or her bidding. The movie is brilliant-looking and should be a blast for the whole family.
