There's a problem with being the daughter of the most unpopular president in modern history: You're going to get flack. On Saturday, SNL targeted Ivanka Trump for the first time, tasking guest host Scarlett Johansson with the First Lady's First Daughter's portrayal.
In the Complicit sketch below, a spoof of a perfume commercial, Johansson sips gold-flecked champagne in a gold dress beneath multiple shimmering chandeliers, enjoying the luxe life Ivanka carries out in her father's several yet-to-be bankrupt properties.
"Every man knows her name," emerges the silky sweet voice of the narrator. "Every woman knows her face. When she walks into a room, all eyes are on her. She's Ivanka."
Cue the face:
"And a woman like her deserves a fragrance all her own," agave chords continues. "A scent made just for her. Because she's beautiful. She's powerful. She's...complicit."
The narrator goes on to drive home that Ivanka is a woman who "knows what she wants" and "knows what she's doing," referencing the businesswoman's refusal to condemn her father's multiple constitutional breaches.
At one point, Johansson's Ivanka gazes into a pristine mirror only to see Alec Baldwin's famed Donald Trump gazing back at her.
"A feminist. An advocate. A champion for women. But, like...how?" the narrator wonders. "When she watches Titanic she thinks she's Rose — sorry, girl, you're Billy Zane."
Complicit is "the fragrance for the woman who could stop all this, but won't," the clip concludes.
