'Titanic' Is Getting Re-Released in Theaters, So You Can Cry Over Jack’s Death All Over Again

Does anyone else smell '90s nostalgia?

'Titanic' Will Be Re-Re-Released for its 20th Anniversary
20th Century Fox

The RMS Titanic will set sail once more on the AM-Sea (AMC, get it?).

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the greatest film of all time, Dolby Laboratories, Paramount Pictures, and AMC Theaters have announced that starting on Dec. 1, Titanic will be re-released in 87 theaters across the country for a week.

In a video posted to the film's official Twitter page, Director James "I'm King of the World" Cameron said that watching it in AMC's Dolby Vision "was like seeing it for the first time."

I'm sure that you, like myself, watchTitanic biannually, and thus do not require a refresher on this cinematic masterpiece. But, on the off chance that you forgot, this iconic film won 11 Academy Awards and made stars of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

Cheers to that!
