Nearly five years after Fast and Furious star Paul Walker died in a car crash, we will get new insight into the actor's life thanks to the upcoming documentary I Am Paul Walker, which will air exclusively on Paramount Network.
The trailer for the documentary dropped earlier today, featuring home video of Walker as a tot and as a teenager, and interviews with everyone from Walker's brother and sister, to the Fast and Furious cast and crew.
"He liked to go fast," recalls the actor's younger sister Ashlie. "As soon as I was old enough to hang on tight, I was on the back of his big wheel with him, going for the ride of my life."
As we also learn in the trailer, the Fast and Furious star used to have aspirations of becoming a park ranger.
"He’d always say like, 'I want to be a park ranger, make $28 grand a year, and like, live in the wilderness.' That’s really what he wanted to do," says Caleb Walker, Paul's younger brother.
Walker was 40-years-old when he died in November 2013, leaving behind a teenage daughter, Meadow. And, according to Fast and the Furious director Rob Cohen, Walker's daughter was the biggest priority in his life:
"My daughter, my surfing — that’s the life and that’s what I care about," says The Fast and the Furious director Rob Cohen.
I Am Paul Walker premieres Aug. 11 at 9 p.m. on Paramount Network.
