We all make bad decisions at one point or another. Like, the decision to piss in a bucket, mimic sexual acts with a foam finger, and go sock-less during a big workout. Selena Gomez seems to have committed a huge no-no with her teen raunch comedy Behaving Badly. The movie was released over the weekend with little fanfare — so little, in fact, that the pop star didn't even bother to promote it on her social media to stir up even an inkling of excitement. But that's not even the worst part.

Behaving Badly centers around an awkward teen (The Fault in Our Stars actor Nat Wolff) who falls in love with the popular Nina Pennington (Gomez). To win her affection, they embark on a wild adventure that includes seductive teachers, brothels, female matadors, and even a brief cameo by an orange jumpsuit-clad Justin Bieber. The film also features the acting talents of Elisabeth Shue, Heather Graham, Mary-Louise Parker, and Dylan McDermott. Since its quiet release, critics have not been kind. As of this writing, Behaving Badly has an embarrassing 0 percent Rotten Tomatoes rating. You read that right: a ZERO PERCENT rating. Here's what the critics had to say:

—"Behaving Badly is a dreadful sex comedy that gets worse and worse as its dopey story snowballs into relative incoherence." (Los Angeles Times

— "This ruthlessly unfunny misfire should be quickly relegated to an IMDb trivia question after a brief theatrical bow." (Variety)

— "Behaving Badly is a cross between Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, American Pie, Risky Business, the MILF channel on YouPorn, and a bucket of vomit." (Vulture)

— "Behaving Badly is a contender for the worst film of the year..." (Movie Mezzanine)

As The Wrap points out, Gomez's other misfire, 2013's The Getaway co-starring Ethan Hawke, held a 0 percent Rotten Tomatoes rating before eventually creeping up to a mere 2 percent. Even if Behaving Badly does enjoy a boost from potential positive reviews (that is unlikely), the film will most likely go down in movie history as one of the worst of 2014 — along with Robin Thicke's horrid acting debut, of course. But hey, you live and you learn.
