You haven't seen Selena Gomez like this before.
After days of merciless teasing, the Disney star turned 13 Reasons Why producer has released her brand new single, "Bad Liar." The good news? It comes with a super sexy music video. The bad news? It's currently only available via Spotify. Head here to watch it now.
Gomez, whose last album Revival hit the public in 2015, announced the release on Wednesday night via Instagram. Here's a short clip of the vid, during which the 24-year-old can be seen lounging on a bed with her hands tied in a white ribbon.
While Gomez's relationship with long-time love Justin Bieber is reportedly in the past, fans are already speculating the song was written about him.
As the lyrics go...
"I was walking down the street the other day/Trying to distract myself/Then I see your face/Ooh, you got someone else...I see how your attention builds/It's like looking in a mirror/Your touch like a happy pill/But all we do is fear/All my feelings on fire/Guess I'm a bad liar."
Gomez, however, seems to have moved on. The songstress recently shared a pic of her new beau, singer The Weeknd, and herself attending the 2017 Met Gala.
According to songwriter Justin Tranter, who developed the song alongside Gomez, the bass line was sampled from Talking Heads' '70s hit "Psycho Killer."
