While T-Bone Burnett was never incredibly famous for his solo work, his song-writing and production have kept him working with some of the biggest names in film and music.

Not only did T-Bone Burnett write six of the songs featured on the Crazy Heart soundtrack, he won an Oscar Sunday night for Best Original Song for his collaboration with Ryan Bingham on "The Weary Kind." Jeff Bridges has said that his decision to work on the film was due in part to T-Bone's involvement in the film. T-Bone has said that he wrote some of the songs with Jeff specifically in mind.

T-Bone is also known for his work on soundtracks such as O Brother, Where Art Thou?.
