If Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2 proved anything to us mere mortals, it's this: There's nothing more terrifying than a teenage girl in control of her own destiny.
This time around, Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) not only found herself dealing with a love triangle — just curious, are you Team Scratch or Team Kinkle? — our favorite half-witch/half-mortal also stumbled upon an untapped reservoir of power she didn't know she possessed! Yes, we're referring to a power we've all been gifted — our voice. Opinionated and always up for a challenge, Sabrina proved she knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to seek it. Our girl literally raised hell in pursuit of what she desired most!
All magic aside, Sabrina's determination is something to marvel at. Imagine where we'd be if every time we wanted something we weren't afraid to go after it. Here are five times Part 2 of CAOS inspired us and proved you just can't keep a bad witch down.
1. Sabrina On Top
Who doesn't love a woman in power? Well, as it turns out, Father Blackwood (Richard Coyle). Head of the Academy of Unseen Arts, Father Blackwood is proud to anoint Nicholas Scratch (Gavin Leatherwood) as "top boy," to serve as a liaison between the faculty and staff. This role is traditionally male. That is, until Sabrina decides to throw her hat into the ring. Of course, Father Blackwood is furious. If Sabrina becomes "top boy" — or should I say, top girl — it means another tradition at the Academy of Unseen Arts would be broken. The fact that Sabrina is also half-mortal doesn't help her cause. But, does this stop Sabrina? Hell no.
Though Sabrina is in competition with Nick, it doesn't stop these two from helping each other out, especially after Sabrina is attacked by a sea of rats. So, who issued the attack? Was it... Nick? Father Blackwood? Or someone else who doesn't want to see a young woman rise to power?
2. The Other Woman
When Nick's Familiar catches wind that he's romantically involved with Sabrina Spellman, it's too much for her to handle. The problem? Amalia — Nick's Familiar — is a werewolf! On top of that, Nick's relationship with Amalia sort of runs deep — real deep. When Nick's parents died, Amalia raised Nick, forging him into the strapping young man we see today. Although Nick knows Amalia has serious jealousy issues, he's done everything in his power not to kill her — that is, until now.
Knowing Sabrina's at risk, Nick promises to kill Amalia. Of course, Nick can't bring himself to do it. Instead, he slaughters another wolf and brings Sabrina its heart. When Amalia suddenly appears, Sabrina is forced to take matters into her own hands. Though Sabrina tries to reason with Amalia, she can't. In the end, Sabrina is left to handle the other woman in Nick's life the only way she can — by destroying her.
3. Headed To The Chapel
When Sabrina learns Father Blackwood proposed to Aunt Zelda (Miranda Otto), she is utterly displeased about their unholy matrimony. Unfortunately, Aunt Zelda (Miranda Otto) doesn't allow Sabrina's unfavorable opinion to derail her wedding.
Sabrina's feelings weren't unsubstantiated, especially after she discovered Father Blackwood was involved with her parents' plane crash! Essentially, Father Blackwood did everything to stop Sabrina from being born because she's a "half-witch" and would "muddle" the purity of their coven. With Nick's help, Sabrina took it upon herself to find the evidence necessary to prove Father Blackwood's wrongdoing — going as far as the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean to retrieve her father's lost journals!
4. Level Up
When witch hunters descended upon Greendale, it didn't take long for them to burrow their way into the Academy of Unseen Arts, putting everyone in the coven at risk of being slaughtered. The witch hunters — or, the Order of the Innocent, as the call themselves — are unnaturally unstoppable.
After being attacked herself, Sabrina rushed to the Academy to save the coven. Here, Sabrina tapped into powers greater than what anyone could've imagined. Sabrina's metamorphosis left even her biggest haters shaking in their stockings. Undeniably, the powers Sabrina wielded to save her coven were truly unnatural for a normal witch, let alone a teenage witch still learning basic of incantations. What does this mean? Is Sabrina Spellman a good witch, bad witch, or... something else entirely?
5. A Series Of Unfortunate Events
No matter what Sabrina did to stop Lucifer Morningstar (Luke Cook) from returning, nothing worked. As Sabrina fought the darkness growing inside of her, she did her best to hold on to the soul she signed over to the Dark Lord. But, every step Sabrina took against Lucifer, she unknowingly fulfilled another part of the dark prophecy. No matter what, Sabrina tried to get her way and took hold of her own destiny. She's fighter and won't go down without a fight. Let's just say all hell breaks loose, literally, in CAOS Part 2.
