Dallas Cowboys, and more specifically Terrell Owens fans, will be pleased to hear they won't be missing their favorite wide receiver this offseason. Quite the opposite actually, they'll be handed a serious T.O. overload by VH1.

The network announced Monday that the controversial wide receiver will star in his own reality TV series, set to air this summer. The show will follow Owens throughout the offseason as his best friends and publicists, Monique Jackson and Kita Williams, help him re-examine his personal life, by acting as matchmakers and therapists.

So basically, follow T.O. in the offseason as he tries to get a date and work through whatever personal issues he has. This could be interesting, after all, Owens is an emotional guy. He cried for Tony Romo, so I'm guessing there's a good chance his soft side will make an appearance on the show.

VH1 did not announce when the show will start, only that it's scheduled to appear on the network this summer.
