(Getty Images)more pics »Tiger Woods spoke at the Masters Tournament press conference today, and he first addressed his apprehensions about reception, and said people "couldn't be nicer." He also apologized for the fact that his fellow players have been bombarded, and hopes they will be left alone now, and going forward.
Tiger Woods (Getty) He said he's going to try to not be "as hot" when he plays, and tone down his negative outbursts and be more respectful of the game. He also said: "A lot has happened in my life over the past few months, and I'm here to play and compete. I missed the players and my friends."
The news conference is in Georgia, the location of the Masters Tournament. He arrived at the site this weekend, without wife Elin Nordegren. It's very likely interviewers will ask him a bunch of personal questions, about the mistresses, etc., but we doubt there will be much dirt spilled.
Tiger's alleged mistress Joslyn James will definitely be watching with her lawyer Gloria Allred, and it looks like the porn star is still looking for her personal apology. Apparently after the conference the two women will decide if they're going to travel to Georgia to watch, and maybe even confront, the golfer.
