According to People, the former member of the House of Representatives is planning to withdraw from the Dancing with the Stars competition during Tuesday's live show because he's suffering from stress fractures in his feet, making it difficult to go on.
Tom dancing (via CBS) Apparently doctors and DWTS producers discouraged DeLay from competing in Monday night's show, but he opted to go ahead and show off his samba skills anyway. He said on the air, "What’s a little pain when we can party?" But a little pain turned into a lot for Tom, who was hurting badly by the end of the night. He said of his feet, "They're starting to tell me I shouldn’t have done this. I ice them. I’ve got a bone stimulator machine that I put on them."
Even if DeLay does stay in the competition, he probably won't win. He scored only 15 points from the judges last night, placing second to last. Watch his performance below.
