Adam Sandler's
Jack & Jill was a new low for a guy that's been coasting since
Happy Gilmore. Likewise,
Johnny Depp built his reputation on being incredibly selective with the projects he chose to work on, but now his credibility radar appears to be broken (see:
The Tourist, Rum Diary, and the
Pirates sequels). The
Twilight franchise decided to break the final installment into two movies, which meant weaker films and double the box office take. And
American Idol suffered its lowest ratings ever thanks to dull judges and the same old tired format.
