On Saturday, Feb. 18, the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star announced the good news via Instagram.
"Marco and I are elated to share the news of the the birth of our son Zen," she wrote. "We couldn’t feel more blessed with the new addition to our family. #threeboys... oh boy!"
News of Saldana's second pregnancy was not released prior to her announcement, leading fans to believe little Zen was either produced via surrogacy or adoption. Zimbio cannot confirm the veracity of either assumption at this time.
Saldana, 38, is known to keep her personal life private, so it's also possible Zen was the product of an incredibly low-key pregnancy.
Whatever the case, Zen is also welcomed by Saldana's twins Cy and Bowie, who were born November 27, 2014.
Saldana and Perego, 37, have been married since 2013.
News of the couple's tiny addition comes just a week after Saldana's film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 scored a coveted 100 in audience test screening, meaning the vast majority of viewers would recommend the film. The score is relatively unheard of in the industry, calculated based on a random group of fans chosen to watch and rate the film months prior to its May 5, 2017 release.
Needless to say, it's a good time for Saldana, who plays badass Gamora in the popular franchise.
